Coach Dupont brings more than 25 years of elite hockey experience as a player, coach, and program leader at the professional, junior, and high-level youth levels. His background reflects not only competitive success but also a deep commitment to building strong cultures, developing confident athletes, and holding teams to championship standards.

Coach Dupont is a firm believer that culture is the foundation of all successful programs. He sets clear standards and accountability for players, coaches, and families. He organizes structured and purposeful practices based on fundamentals and includes mental performance training to teach the athletes confidence, resilience, and composure under pressure. Coach Dupont has a long-term focus on player development and personal growth.

Coach Muir joins Denton County with five decades of hockey experience as a player, coach, administrator, official, and journalist. The Windsor, Ontario native joined his first junior coaching staff in 1981 when injuries curtailed his high-level playing aspirations. A professional move to North Texas in 1991 shifted his focus to other elements of the game. As a journalist, he's spent 30 years covering the NHL including a 10-year stint with Sports Illustrated. He has written for publications in Sweden, Finland, and Russia, and has covered the Olympics, the World Cup, and multiple Stanley Cup Finals. When the Stars came to Dallas, he worked behind the scenes for visiting team broadcasters before being hired by the NHL in 1995. He spent 17 seasons as an off-ice official with the league and has performed similar duties for the IIHF. He returned to the bench after leaving the NHL, focusing on the 14U and 18U age groups as a way to give back to the game that's given him so much. He is currently a USA Hockey Level 4 coach.

Coach Pierce grew up in the DFW metroplex and played travel hockey for 6 seasons, then Juniors for the Dallas Snipers, and college hockey at UNT. He began coaching on the side while playing competitively at the age of 16 at the Starcenter in Euless. By the age of 21, he was running the learn to play hockey programs at 3 Starscenter's, all while interning for the Stars in the Frisco office. 

Coach Pierce has now been coaching for 17 years. During that time, he created and still runs his own private lesson and training business- All Out Performance Training LLC, where he helped players reach the goals they set for themselves. He has worked with all age groups and skill levels, from those just learning to skate to players who work their way up into AAA and Juniors. He is a USA Hockey Level 4 coach and has been coaching travel hockey since 2017 for the Dallas Penquins and since 2021 for Spartans. 

Off the ice, Coach Pierce has been married since 2021 and moved to Princeton, TX in 2023. He and his wife welcomed their first baby boy in January 2025. When he is not coaching, Coach Pierce works for The City of Anna as the Special Events Coordinator, putting together city events with over 12,000 attendees.

Coach Studer played travel hockey in Texas for 10 years and Juniors for the Atlanta Knights of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. He began his coaching career working with the Hockey Academy in Euless, then Frisco and Plano. He was previously the DSMHL 10U Coordinator in Frisco and the 8U Coordinator in Plano. He was an assistant coach for 5 different teams over 3 seasons with the Dallas Penguins from 2018-2021, spanning the 12U, 14U, and 16U age groups. In the 2021-22 hockey season, Coach Studer moved to Iowa and became the first Hockey Director for the Mason City Mohawks. After further coaching jobs with the Texas Jr. Brahmas and the Texas Tigers, Coach Studer now calls Euless StarCenter home, where he is the 16UA Head Coach for the Heat and the primary coach for the Top Shelf Training Center.
